Standards and specifications

This product meets the electromagnetic compatibility directive 1997/24/8EC  and the ECE 22/05 Regulations for crash helmet manufacture.

Compliance with this directive involved conformity with the following European standards:

  • ETSI EN 301 489-17 V1.3.2: electromagnetic and radio spectrum material compatibility (ERM); electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standard for radio equipment and services; Part 3: special conditions for short range devices (SRDs) operating at frequencies between 9 kHz and 40 GHz.

  • ETSI EN 300 328 V1.7.1: electromagnetic and radio spectrum material compatibility (ERM);  equipment transmitting data on the ISM band at 2.4 GHz and with broad spectrum modulation techniques; harmonised EN covering the essential requirements under article 3.2 of the R&TTE  Directive.
