Standards and SpecificationsThose products meet the electromagnetic compatibility directive 1997/24/8EC and and moreover the crash helmet meets the ECE 22/05 regulations for crash helmet manufacture.
Compliance with this directive involved conformity with the following European standards:
- ETSI EN 301 489-17 V1.3.2: electromagnetic and radio spectrum material compatibility (ERM); electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standard for radio equipment and services; Part 3: special conditions for short range devices (SRDs) operating at frequencies between 9 kHz and 40 GHz.
- ETSI EN 300 328 V1.7.1: electromagnetic and radio spectrum material compatibility (ERM); equipment transmitting data on the ISM band at 2.4 GHz and with broad spectrum modulation techniques; harmonised EN covering the essential requirements under article 3.2 of the R&TTE Directive.
